In Ayurveda, it is your digestive fire, your Agni, that fuels your immunity, your ability to receive what life throws your way and what you bring into your body, and your alchemical process of creating Ahara Rasa (life-giving sap) out of it all.
Easiest way to stoke that fire or tame its rage - through food. Why? Because just like water and air, it's one of the most frequent flyers through your body throughout every day of your life creating health or dis-ease.
Through the lens of Midwest living, I am going to share with you in each of these 4 immersive workshops HOW to be creating health and building a longevity culture within your home apothecary - the kitchen.
The Food Combing Workshop is going to challenge some of our most loved rituals in the kitchen - especially breakfast, brunch, and dinner staples. It's okay. You will learn why some food combinations (like milk and coffee) are not your soul mate, but rather, more like a twin flame - tastes soo good and hits the spot, but is creating a toxic environment within your body. A lot of our food combinations are low-level toxic that show up as a harmless burp, a routine visit to the bathroom right after consumed, clouded mind, the butt-of-jokes food coma, and indigestion that is enough to notice, but not enough to care.
Until it is. (I speak from experience!)
Learn how to become aware of what you are creating, how to navigate and balance out when twin flames win, and find the path to your soulmate...through food - no promises on the humans, but you may learn some life skills in that department, too! This is through the lens of the 6 tastes and qualities - inner sense tools vs. a chart.
